Attendees and award winners hailed from markets including mainland China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, creating a vibrant atmosphere of cross-border networking and recognition.
David Enticknap, CEO of Extel said "Achieving recognition through an Extel ranking is the ultimate validation from investors; the universe of contributors is independent, high-quality and global, so the evening was a unique opportunity to be recognized for success over the last year".
Returning as emcee, Xaviera Yau once again guided the evening with poise, ensuring a smooth flow of proceedings and warm recognition for each honoree. Extel was especially pleased to welcome Judy Hsu and Pansy Yang of the Taiwan Investor Relations Institute, who presented awards to Taiwanese corporate winners.

“We were delighted to host the Extel Asia Equity Awards Dinner for the second year running, celebrating excellence in equity research, brokerage, corporate leadership, and investor relations. These areas have all been vital in supporting investors through a challenging 2024,” said Carvin Lee, Asia Director at Extel.
A new accolade, Most Improved Broker, was introduced this year and presented to Jefferies. The evening also featured strong representation and major wins from BofA Securities, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and UBS, underscoring the enduring prestige of Extel’s Research data, now in its 32nd year.
Adding a touch of light-hearted competition, guests took part in a short quiz during the ceremony, bringing an extra element of fun to the evening’s celebrations.
