As well as a rich trove of actionable insights companies use to optimize their performances, these two surveys also reveal the performances of investor relations and executive teams, based on votes from global buy-side analysts, portfolio managers and sell-side researchers at securities firms and financial institutions.
Based on these votes Extel awards the accolades of 'Honored Company', 'Most Honored Company' and 'All-Star Company'. Honored Companies are companies who achieved at least one published position. To earn the designation of Most Honored Company, a company must achieve a weighted score of six or more points across the seven categories in the combined, buy-side and sell-side rankings, wherein each first-place position is worth three points; second place, two; and third place, one. When a tie exists in the weighted score, companies are ordered according to the number of ranked positions they received.
Amani Korayeim, Extel's Director for Europe and Emerging EMEA, said: "Congratulations to this year's C-Suite and IR teams, particularly to the newcomers making their mark. Extel's independent, anonymized datasets are trusted instruments for the industry, shaping how performance is measured and rewarded. The best teams use these insights to sharpen their investor engagement, and the results speak for themselves."
