We are live with the 2026 Japan Sales Team and 2026 Japan's Top Corporate Access Providers. 

The results are supported by an article written by Alexandra DeLuca, who speaks to a number of the heads of sales and corporate access from the leading firms.

To select the members of Extel’s 2026 Japan Sales Team, we received responses from 354 investors at 215 firms and invited participants from the broader research survey to rate the firms with the best sales team based on six performance attributes. The top 10 Sales table is based on the overall weighted vote count for each firm. Voters are required to meet eligibility requirements, and all ballots are subject to review by Extel’s Operations Group.  

To select the members for Extel’s 2026 Japan’s Top Corporate Access Providers, we invited participants in the 2026 Japan Research Team and Japan Executive Team Surveys to provide feedback on the firms that provided the best corporate access based on specified attributes. From the 2026 Japan Research Team survey, representing the buy-side point of view, we received responses from 215 investors at 147 firms. This group rated sell-side firms on a scale from 1 to 5 on overall corporate access across six attributes: Conferences; Logistics; Field Trips; Road Shows; Team Quality and Expert Access. Each attribute score was based on the rating given to the firm to produce a top 10. From the 2026 Japan Executive Team, representing the corporate point of view, 82 corporates ranked their top sell-side firms on the following attributes: Bus Tours/Reversed Road Shows; Conferences; Investor Feedback; Investor Meeting Requests; Logistics; Road Shows and Team Quality. The Top 10 Corporate Access Leaders, based on the corporate response, were calculated by adding together a firm’s attribute scores to produce a table of the top ten firms.
