To select the members for Extel’s 2026 Australia & New Zealand’s Top Corporate Access Providers, we invited participants in the 2026 Australia & New Zealand Research Team and Executive Team Surveys to provide feedback on the firms that provided the best corporate access based on specified attributes.
From the 2026 Australia & New Zealand Research Team survey, representing the buy-side point of view, we received responses from 57 investors at 48 firms. This group rated sell-side firms on a scale from 1 to 5 on overall corporate access for these attributes: Conferences; Logistics; Field Trips; Road Shows; Team Quality and Expert Access. Each attribute score was based on the rating given to the firm to produce a top 10.
A separate Top Conferences table was produced with the Buy-side and Corporate voters rating their top conferences over the past year. All the votes for these tables were weighted by the voting firm’s Australia & New Zealand commission range and the rating awarded to produce a table of the top firms.
Demand for corporate access—the business by sell-side firms of connecting investors with executives—was up in Australia and New Zealand over the past year, and a familiar group of teams were there to meet the need.
“Each year the corporate access team pivots to respond to consumer demand based on what is happening in the market,” Rob Taubman, UBS Head of Advisory Sales ANZ, said. “This year we adapted and saw increased demand coming from the resources sector, resulting in a higher level of resources tours and meetings.”
Taubman reported that this was also matched by firm’s research team, which increased its research coverage in small cap resources stocks. “There was further an increase in focus from our overseas clients on international stocks and that saw a higher level of international corporates accessing UBS’ client offerings,” he added.
